Throughout The ORG of the Phoenix you will be able to put your spellcasting skills to good use by deciding to Switch or Flick every round. Here's how it works: - Each round you should make a post in this thread, casting one of the two special charms: Switch or Flick. For instance: If you post SWITCH, a magical contract will exist between you and your Pureblood vs Order partner during the round's vote. In the event that your partner is voted out from the Order Side, this contract will stop them from being eliminated from The ORG of the Phoenix. Instead, you and they will immediately switch Sides - the next round will begin with them joining the Death Eater, and you joining the Order Side. If you post FLICK, your Pureblood vs Order partner will remain vulnerable to being voted out if they attend Magical Council, and eliminated from the Game for good. To cast a charm: - You need to post either SWITCH or FLICK in this thread before the voting deadline of 9:30pm AEST. - You may post your decision for a new round in this thread as soon as the round begins. Usually this will be after the prior round's Magical Council, when the new round's Immunity Challenge is posted in the Hogwarts Grounds. You do not need to wait for the Challenge Results confirming which Side will be attending Magical Council. - You may change your decision as many times as you wish before a round's voting deadline. As with your Magical Council votes, the final charm you post before the deadline passes will be taken as your final decision. - If you fail to post a decision for the round in this thread before the round's voting deadline, you will be deemed to have cast the Flick charm. Please also note the following stipulations: - The Ministers will never reveal which charms you cast to any other player. Nobody will know what you post in this thread unless you tell, or unless your Switch charm does save a player from elimination, and you then switch Sides. - You must be an active participant in the Switch and Flick twist in order to be saved by it. If your partner gets eliminated without posting a valid charm before the deadline in that round, they would leave the Game no matter which charm you decided to cast; if you get eliminated without posting a valid charm before the deadline, you will leave the game regardless of which charm your partner cast. - Once somebody has already been saved from elimination by a Switch charm once, they cannot receive this protection again. If they are voted out again they will leave the game no matter which charm their partner decided to cast. Finally, there are Ministry regulations restricting this special version of the Switch charm. You may cast it as many times as you like, but only up until it has saved a total of two players from elimination. From then on this Switch charm will be ineffective. If you have any questions about the Switch and Flick twist, please ask the Ministers in this thread. It is also where you should post your decisions every round, starting with your charm for Round 1, which is due by 9:30pm on Tuesday 3 May.

We'll write it in some of the posts? But Day 1 was May 1. So right now it's May 4 in Australia, which means it's Day 4 in the game.

A Switch Charm Update!
Now that the Sides have been redrawn and some Pureblood vs Order partners find themselves on the same Side, we are expanding the scope of the Switch Charms for all players. From now on, if you choose to cast a Switch Charm, you must also choose whom you wish to cast it upon. Simply post the name of a player on the other Side along with your Switch Charm, like so: If a player is voted out from the other Side the same round that you cast a Switch Charm upon them, they will be spared from elimination and both of you will Switch sides instead. On the other hand, casting the Flick Charm will essentially be giving the Flick to all the players on the other side - FLICK is now an active choice to save none of them. In the event that multiple players have cast a Switch Charm upon the player voted out in a given round, the Ministers will randomly select just one of the Switch Charm casters to actually switch Sides with them. (Unless one of the Switch Charm casters was their Pureblood vs Order partner, in which case they will automatically be the one to Switch, without any random draw.) When a player is saved by the Switch Charm, the Ministers will never confirm whether a random draw was or was not required, or which other players might have been involved. All the other rules and deadlines remain unchanged, including the fact that no player may be spared from elimination by a Switch Charm twice - therefore casting a Switch Charm upon a player who has already been spared in a prior round will have no effect.

Episode 12 Decision | Day 19 ![](https://i.imgur.com/w3bHo8V.png) Regulus Black and Alastor Moody This Charm was successful! This means that you can no longer cast any Charms until/unless you earn the right to cast a Flick, which will take 100 House Points.

Whoops, my bad. Got some record-keeping wires crossed (some rodent keeps chewing through them).
You do indeed still have a Flick Charm to cast.

Just curious: with the current Switch and flick 200 points bonus - does that mean that i have 1 switch and 2 flicks? Or was it just restored used switch and no extra flicks? ![:)](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png)

No, each player can only ever use one Switch and one Flick at most. If neither of you had the Post-Merge Advantage from the Gifts Challenge, then you'd have earned one more Charm and would need to decide which of you gets it. And earn even more House Points to unlock the second Charm for the second member of your PBvO pair.
But because you already have the ability to use both, this one can only be used by Lily. Nevertheless we couldn't disclose that in the official House Points thread because whether you tell Lily about the Advantage you gain s up to you, and it isn't something the Ministers would reveal or confirm for anyone but you.
