What followed wasn't necessarily a rush, so much as a constant reconfiguration of plans. Not for the Game - the concepts were all there from the start, albeit with some details to fill in - but for the construction of it. Nearly everyone involved got extremely sick or unpredictably busy, including me over the two weeks I'd set aside to perfect everything before we started... and while that time was never quite made up, some casual insomnia helped everything somehow come together in the end. And that's before taking into account all the IRL difficulties this cast braved in order to keep the flames lit throughout: COVID, conferences, overseas trips, moves, graduations, new jobs, elections, COVID again, real loved ones visits, and other illnesses too. My point is this - everything about The ORG of the Phoenix was a labour of love, showing a frankly unreasonable level of dedication, time, stress, sleeplessness and delusional fantasy... but somehow that also makes it the perfect reflection of the Harry Potter fandom! ![:ha](http://storage2.proboards.com/7158043/images/VOvCOHdjdczxDlacdwiV.png) From the nights spent reading by torchlight, to the years of rereads and theorising, the fan communities built and abandoned over time, plus the struggle to reconcile the series as a part of your identity even as the world moves on and the author gets justifiably Cancelled (if you sense any overlap with the ORG community, that is of course purely coincidental), this particular tribute couldn't be a better fit! ![:fan](https://i.imgur.com/074wyXd.gif) And to that end, we need to properly thank everyone involved! The other Ministers made this journey possible and covered for me in a myriad of ways that I always appreciated, no matter how small ![:<3](http://i.imgur.com/L3NpwEv.gif) even those whom could not participate actively once the game began, or whom most of you only encountered here intermittently. They all gave what little time they had and this Game couldn't have been the same without any one of them. The Australian Survivor ORG community in general has nurtured and equipped me to invite so many others into fantasies like this one, and ORGYuniverse has enabled that further - it is my honour to have an esteemed Gallery including representatives from both those groups who weren't content with waiting for my imminent intermittent on-site updates. (Which I beg you all to wait just a few more hours for, before you spoil this outcome on those sites.) But most of all, I'm grateful to have once again been blessed with an elite cast who took everything I imagined and ran with it to rebirth an entire Wizarding World, populating it with unlikely Phoenixes arising from the chaos and spreading their fiery wings to write new stories over the course of this last month. This is the crux of Fantasma, the essence of what makes these Games so great, and we can't properly end this Game until we've honoured each and every one of you! I know there's a lot to get through and I'll try to be quick reasonable with the pacing. You'll have to endure a few more words from me, I'm afraid ![:lol](https://i.imgur.com/X4ixXao.gif) But at long last, at the very close, everything shall finally be open! Starting with all those elusive (and all those less elusive ![;)](http://images.proboards.com/new/wink.png) ) player IDs. Grab the popcorn, and the butterbeer, and join the celebrations! Certainly, you've all more than earned them! ![:lumos](https://i.imgur.com/i5qVeTQ.gif)

Ok, so I'm pretty sure I know who Diggle is, but that's 'bout it for ID speculations on my end. Turns out showin' up late for your own win doesn't give a lot o' time to think 'bout silly things like who folks are in real life!

Only Umbridge and I had time to write comments for everyone, but Minerva has thoughts she can share for most of you separately, and Snape contributed to the MVP points, which we'll get to next.

20th Place - Figg Played by tarz_oneill"To my loved one Reugulus Black - I give you my heart. The Ministry will RIP it from my chest and send it to you post haste." Peter Pettigrew I don't think anyone knows yet that Tarz (aka Kristie) had to step away from this in order to keep things balanced IRL while starting a new job. While it was awful to lose one of the ORG of the Rings MVPs so quickly, I'm grateful that you gave it your all and brought Figg to live hilariously for those first few days - I was literally laughing out loud at some of your cat pictures/stories, and your Side's confusion at what to make of them all. I'm also grateful that once you knew you couldn't do this properly, you let us know immediately rather than just petering out. Figg's will is an early highlight I encourage all the DEs to check out - especially poor Regulus, who was so torn up about losing you that... well... he decided partnership wasn't for him and rejected our offer to officially pair him and Mundungus up instead. But hey, it propelled him to the end so points to you for that Dolores Umbridge You were one of the earliest shining stars, and I know Figg could have been an epic performance had the circumstances allowed. But they didn't allow, and that's just the way it goes sometimes. Real life always takes precedent, and your decision was fully supported by all the hosts. Work and life balance is difficult to manage at the best of times, give yourself some time to figure out how and if ORGing can fit into that as well. But in only one round of play, you certainly provided enough moments of character and humour to leave a lasting impact.

It can’t be said enough how much credit Peter deserves for putting this on. He did the vast majority of this himself, both pre-game and during the game- blogs, challenges, game mechanics, all of it. You can clearly see the effort and passion that went into every aspect of this and it’s a testament to him. It was not easy, several of us hosts had unexpected commitments during the game and so were busier than we’d have liked to be. Thus Peter had to shoulder much more of the work than expected- so shower him with the praise he deserves for delivering such an exceptional experience for all involved. It was my pleasure just to be along for the ride and to occasionally punish you all. ![^_^](https://i.imgur.com/aTBFLMN.gif)

Massive congrats to Peter Pettigrew and the ministry for putting on a deeply immersive ORG that was fun to play the entire way through! All the players sink a lot of time into orgs but it’s nothing compared to all the planning and behind the scenes work you guys do for us! You should be very proud of your follow up to org of the rings!

![](https://i.imgur.com/dvhXtA6.png) ![](https://i.imgur.com/fcsg29F.png) 19th Place - Alecto Played by Author999"Why can't we simply kill off the other team? I think that would be the most productive use of our time and solve this little spat quickly." Peter Pettigrew Alecto had a breakthrough case of COVID and had to drop out, but the update is that they're totally fine ![:<3](http://i.imgur.com/L3NpwEv.gif) Far better to be overly cautious with these things, and obviously ORGing should not have been the priority there as much as we all wanted to see more Alecto. Author was the original Merry for half a day in The ORG of the Rings so this makes two consecutive first-round exits for reasons totally beyond anyone's control ![:'(](http://images.proboards.com/new/cry.gif) not to mention other recent r.obberies such as RichterRIP. I hope we're not doomed to yet another next time - because there will be a next time yet. NGL you'll need to avoid calamity for a few days at least to outshine Alecto holding up the entire alliance development at Malfoy Manor for some 15 hours ![(rofl)](//storage2.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png) while even Lucius waited for you to respond to their overtures and lock in the majority. Dolores Umbridge I think in some weird way you were the glue keeping the Manor together for that one round, because they absolutely imploded the second you left the game. Liking you was something near everyone could agree on- your Missives were top notch, and you just have that way of immediately charming people. Like with Figg, real life always takes precedent. Not worth the extra stress if you're going through something serious in real life as well. You were a delight while we had you, and honestly the double quit was a weirdly fitting absurd start for a delightfully absurd game.

18th Place - Travers Played by Blackranger"C'mon luv, cackle like we practiced...no tears, use your diaphragm!" Peter Pettigrew Another example of huge potential limited by outside factors, in this case being unexpectedly busy IRL on top of the timezone difference. You were absolutely hilarious though and starting to get your hooks in strategically, too - it took your DNS in the Challenge and your implicit blessing to stop other fighting on your behalf. There was a point where everyone you'd PMed was suddenly in love with you, and everyone you hadn't got to yet was completely perplexed because your humour was just that on point! I know how excited you were for this, and I'm sorry it couldn't work out ![:(](http://images.proboards.com/new/sad.png) but also kind of wish you'd not thrown in the towel because Malfoy Manor was poised to keep you longer, Kingsley was prepared to Switch with you, and it wasn't unlikely that you could have squeaked through your busy period and then started anew at the swap ready to properly show off your Traversatility. Dolores Umbridge What you were doing with the rep was so much fun, and you were pretty secure at the Manor even despite the blimps in activity. I definitely think that had you held on during your rough patch, you'd have survived and easily wormed your way into the thick of things. That said, I understand where you were coming from, and the inclination to just save yourself the trouble if it's looking like a doomed scenario anyway. much appreciated that you continued to stick around after the fact, I hope to see you in more Aussie timezone games in the future!
