Welcome to The ORG of the Phoenix Corban Yaxley! The Ministry has weighed your wand and can now gladly return it, hoping that with it in hand you may do many great things here! As you fight for the fate of the Wizarding World, you may use this Diary Journal board to record your experiences, thoughts, ideas, notes, strategies, reactions or any number of other things as you see fit. It is a private place which nobody other than yourself and the Ministers can see (until the game is over), and any posts made here will not count toward the total post count on your profile. You should also use this area to play all of your Challenges, and to privately ask any questions you have for the Ministers. Speaking of which - we'll also be popping in at least once every episode to ask you questions and to pick your brain. Here are some to start you off: 1. First Impressions! What do you think of your partner so far? How is Day 0 going? 2. How do you think beginning this Game with a partner will impact the way it plays out? How important is the chance to earn a mutual ID reveal? 3. What do you expect will happen on Sunday night? What else do you think might lie ahead in The ORG of the Phoenix? 4. Do you have any goals for yourself in this game? Any hopes for how your journey here may play out?

I'll probably use this as a thread for my own questions. Just wanted to mention that I think question 6 posts the A result if you use E text? I'm going to try using the E text again (N O T I M E F O R D A T E S) in my next post to make sure I'm not crazy.

I wasn't crazy in this one very specific instance, hooray! Also I guess we know we got one of the questions wrong; I think it's very unlikely we got #3 right if we were the first to attempt the challenge ![:P](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png)

Just triple-checking because while spacing out my brain put something together; speculating about another player's ID is banned even in my Journal until the end of the game, right? I can't stop myself from having sudden realizations but the idea is I should just never ever put those speculations into text form for fear of accidentally putting them into text form elsewhere accidentally.

This is correct. We're being a bit stricter than usual because the use of preference lists in casting and the opportunity for partners to earn Mutual ID Reveals give you all actual information which could influence ID guesses, beyond the kinds of uncertain and possibly baseless suspicions you might have in a fully closed-ID Game. We're also keen to discourage the culture of looking for people you know behind the reps when one of the reasons we have those reps is to keep everyone focused on them while the Game is playing out, to limit any possibility that player's actions are influenced by things from outside the Game. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks, that makes sense! I'd be pretty disappointed on the admittedly extreme off-chance someone ID'd me and acted for or against me from my behaviour in past games.
I hadn't intended to give IDs any thought, I think it's the kind of information that would make playing these harder for me as a person? It was just Diggle had a specific turn of phrase that really reminded me of someone and I wasn't sure how much I could voice that in here; I'd initially only skimmed the ID rules because the idea I'd ever be able to even hazard a guess seemed so unlikely. Anyways, for what it's worth whether or not I'm right will change nothing for me, so I'll stop talking about it here and get to bed.

Peter Pettigrew Just noticed while writing a journal entry for this round that the parchment for House Points changed; is item 8 supposed to be "Receive", "Revive", or it an intentional spelling?

It is indeed meant to read 'Receive'. Thanks for spotting it ![:fan](https://i.imgur.com/074wyXd.gif) and shame to all the co-hosts who are supposed to be my proof-readers every time the lack of spellcheck on Photoshop trips me up ![:smh](//storage.proboards.com/7252598/images/qNnigqDBRwmLStksufWc.gif) Anyhow, it has now been fixed.

Oh, I just realized I may have accidentally broken a rule with Regulus? I had intended to use Quidditch as a chance for him to talk about how he was Slytherin seeker in the books, not to actually discuss the challenge.

Sent a quick clarification to him to try to make extra clear what I was going for, hope that's alright Peter.

Thanks for flagging it. You didn’t cross any lines but do try not to even invite Challenge discussion in the future.

Yeah, again, I'm sorry about that. I explicitly just explained to him what I was going for, hopefully that's the end of that. For what it's worth, I think what Reg said there is either obvious or completely wrong? So I've gained nothing out of this. Man, I'm sorry I keep fucking up rules here Peter, 1/round is unacceptable. I'll give everything a re-read again to try to make sure I don't do that any more. And I already spotted the line about not quoting private stuff that you 100% put in from my gaff in Ghibli too. I promise none of this has been intentional. ![:'(](http://images.proboards.com/new/cry.gif)

When the "Get an extra owl post" decision says tomorrow, does that mean the next round? I'm guessing it must, but my head is too foggy to track how the days line up with the 13 hour time difference.

Yes. We'd confirm that you earned it at the upcoming Challenge deadline, and it would apply to the following morning.

Corban YaxleyAs I'm sure you've now realised, we don't allow any PMs to be sent while Magical Council is happening. I'm aware that this is a quirk specific to certain ustralian-timed games that you likely haven't encountered before, but we've posted it at every possible opportunity, in the Rules thread, Challenge explanations, the box at the bottom of the board, and in the opening post of Magical Council itself. Because this is the first time we've had an issue with it in this game, we're issuing you a warning but no punishment. We will however need to act strictly if you breach PM rules again, so please make sure you a familiar with what/when is/isn't allowed. We'll also be posting a general warning for all players later tonight.
