Well that was quite the unconventional start to things! Hopefully now we can build up an actual routine, and maybe even a Vote ![8-)](http://images.proboards.com/new/cool.png) Some questions for 'ya: 1. Spill the tea. What was going to happen if Figg hadn't needed to leave the Game? Or if you'd had to vote somebody out even after she left? How did these plans come about? 2. How does losing them impact the Side dynamics moving forward? Do you think Alecto's absence will impact the other Side similarly? 3. How did you feel the Matchical Thinking Challenge went? Did you learn anything from the results? 4. Any thoughts about the Owl Post system now that you've had a chance to try it out? How about the Switch and Flick Charms, after more time to reflect on what they can do? 5. If your Side attends Magical Council tomorrow night, what would you like to see happen? What are you doing to help push the Side toward that outcome?

1. Spill the tea. What was going to happen if Figg hadn't needed to leave the Game? Or if you'd had to vote somebody out even after she left? How did these plans come about?
Well my target was Figg from the start, and I'd been worried people were going to try and make it so she stuck around. Worked out, that. Her will was really entertaining though, props on that. If we'd had to vote someone out even after she left, I think it'd have been Mundungus? He's just not really been around. I'm not about to double pm, even if it has been over 24 hours and I've seen him online. There's been talk of Kingsley and Aberforth too. They aren't held in super high esteem by people, but it's inoffensive.
2. How does losing them impact the Side dynamics moving forward? Do you think Alecto's absence will impact the other Side similarly?
I'm not too sure Figg's departure affects too much of anything, if I'm honest. Only benefits me. I'm feeling better and better about putting my stock in with Fleur and Diggle for the long haul. Kingsley even said he's looking out for the three of us. Hrmph. Now I'm not sure whether that means we're too obvious. But I'd prioritize Lily far more than Kingsley if I had to.
As for Alecto leaving, no clue how she was integrating in with her group, so it's hard to say. Didn't get an owl post today with any details either. Means Crouch didn't respond to mine, that bastard. Probably prioritized Fleur. But yeah, I think the only thing Alecto's departure means to me is that it's someone gone, and Mundungus doesn't have the possibility of his partner switching him.
3. How did you feel the Matchical Thinking Challenge went? Did you learn anything from the results?
I overthought it. Typical Mad Eye, complicated and intricate. Should have just put more casual stupid answers like "dog" and "voldemort" and it'd have been a shoe in. Instead I "deep dive" Dolohov and Alice Longbottom. What was interesting were the questions where we had to put the pairs. Pyrites put Lucius/Wood as friendly and most likely to make merge, whereas I put them as dangerous. It was my slight hint that I'm not as fond of Wood. Dunno if Pyrites meant the same when he put Igor/Aberforth as a hint about Aberforth. And I put Rudolphus/Fleur as merge as a sign of Fleur's social skills. Not sure how much to read into that then. At least everyone else did poorly.
4. Any thoughts about the Owl Post system now that you've had a chance to try it out? How about the Switch and Flick Charms, after more time to reflect on what they can do?
When I sent my first post I kind of felt it was a bit of a laugh. Wasn't really sure what to put and sure as shit didn't want to give them any info to work with. But then I got Travers message and it was so good in comparison. I was so tempted to just leave my reply as "No", though. Not really sure if the Owl Post can be used for much more right now without any swaps or anything, but I've asked a couple of the others what they think.
Also, for whatever I may say about Crouch not responding to my Owl Post, getting none today was even more telling. About an hour or so before the post arrived, Fleur told me about receiving some sort of parchment in lieu of any sort of response. I had no clue what she was talking about, and said as much. But then, I get my own little scrap of parchment with a hidden message on it. Delivered right on top of breakfast porridge. I'll be continuing to send Owl Post to people so they can't get clues. Possibly, however, this means that allies should coordinate who they do and don't send owl post to heighten the chances of our partners receiving clues and not others? Hmmmm. Might talk to Fleur about this later. And see what Diggle thinks if I decide to let him know about the parchment. He got a post from someone day one, so he likely doesn't know about this yet.
5. If your Side attends Magical Council tomorrow night, what would you like to see happen? What are you doing to help push the Side toward that outcome?
It'll be Dung. There's not much pushing needed.
Looking even further forward, the goal is probably Aberforth next. Doubt I could swing a hit at Wood, but I could be tempted. Just seems premature. And especially it'd be more about saving Kingsley than anything else.
I'd say my current closeness ranking (trust no one) is probably: 1/2 - Fleur/Diggle 3 - Lily 4 - Tonks 5 - Shacklebolt 6 - Aberforth 7 - Wood 8 - Dung
Had Wood over Aberforth at first, but that's since I'm likely to try to work with him longer.

Argh, skipped right over the Switch and Flick.
I was maybe a little hasty. I think another Flick is in order tonight. That group's not voted yet, and it's good to get a little bit more info about what's going on rather than jump in completely unawares. I'm not that reckless, the hell was I thinking?
