1. You've now prepared for two Magical Councils which did not need to occur. Did you have a plan in place, had the Challenge results gone the other way?
Haven't you been reading? Don't make me keep repeating myself, Pettigrew. You've even seen my pre-votes. The vote was likely on Dung both times.
However ~teaser~ it might not be this time.
2. Describe the Side dynamics for us. What do you think your place is within Grimauld Place, and are you comfortable with that?
Well now, I'm just tellin' you my side of these dynamics. Not too sure what might be goin' on where I can't actually see. Whoever cast those shields you put up to stop my eye from reading other missives did a right job of it. Bet it was Minerva. Woman knows her magic.
Right. Topic at hand. I'm ALWAYS WATCHING out for threats, so can never be too comfortable. But all in all, I don't think there's any spies hidden within the group. And I think I'm fitting in pretty well. Everyone here has a unique style and approach and it's all about adapting to it to get the best information out of them. And then sharing unimportant bits as a tool to get more information. I've been in this line of work a while, Pettigrew. I know what I'm doing.
So from the sounds of it, I'm gearing up for a couple longer term agreements that are...quite diverse. First, exactly what I was hoping for - a four person group of myself, Fleur, Diggle, and Kingsley. Within that, I feel a great bond with Diggle. Could even work my way up to calling him Dedalus, but it's a pain to write. There's just something about Diggle I like. Might have been when he got all jumpy about being worried about being too forthcoming because it's gotten him in trouble before. And he does open up with info, but in his own way. He keeps the main details of his conversations to himself, but gives general summaries that still give a lot of information. I don't need to know
what message Yaxley passed on to Diggle, and I'm not about to ask. But it's good to know that Yaxley used Malfoy to pass that message. Especially since my own partner hasn't bothered to pass me any messages...Flicking is looking more and more desirable again tonight (
lol flicking). Anyways, yeah, that's a lot about Diggle, you get the point. And we both recognize that Fleur is quite social and Kingsley puts his focus where he wants to, and it's in with us. Kingsley sent me maybe the longest message I've gotten in the game yet, after starting off so ridiculous. I know he hasn't reached that level with other people, so it's a sign of where I'm at in his effort. Fleur I also feel confides in me, but it does make me antsy about whether she's confiding similar things with others and doing it across the board. Can't blame her, I'm guilty of it.
Speakin' of. Lily approached me about wanting to get together a group with Wood and me. Wood. The only person I'm still in single digits with missive wise. But. I'm comin 'round on him. We've acknowledged we're missing each other a lot but both quite active for our own times. Shows a lot if we can work together with that difficulty. Was actually interested in Lily proposing it. I think she kinda bridges our active times a bit, which makes it an ideal spread.
I also feel like I'm in good with Tonks, but I certainly give her more information than she gives me. I dunno if that's just. Her thing, though. She is forthcoming and much less repeaty now. First one to really say "hey I'll flip the vote on aberforth, let's go". And she gave me that info on thinking Malfoy, Karkaroff, and Lestrange are close based on messages. That plus Yaxley sending a message through Malfoy to Diggle...hmmm. Pyrites could very well be on the outs over there. Still mullin' that one over.
Anyways, those are the main people worth talking about here, the other two belong in the next question. I feel good comin' into a swap possibility though. And if it's not one I also feel good. Really shouldn't shoot myself in the foot, here by risking the Switch, huh.
3. What plans do you have for this coming round? Are you also planning further ahead, or is it still too early for that?
Alrighty, so Dung has been the plan all these rounds but last night he comes on and makes these pitches and you know what? Aberforth sent me a line about Lily looking after cats. Now, Aberforth might not feel like he's in trouble, so he's not trying as hard, but come off it. He's not been around, and at least we've seen Dung show up today to do the challenges. Dung also told me he took an idol clue in the last challenge, risky boy. But he also took on every challenge portion 's far as I can tell, even though I think he might be doing the spells wrong? I can't mention it in the thread because it's toeing the line of talking about the challenge to be like "hey Dung, why don't ya cast some of those damn spells instead of talkin about em. Or can you not perform simple magic?" Idk just feels off of me to do that, plus idk if you are sticklers that far or if he already clarified. I'm just gonna keep doin my class. Professor Moody time

#2: electric boogaloo. Different type of imposter.
So yeah, tide is shiftin to Aberforth. Everyone's walking the same tiptoe "oh i could totally vote Aberforth now, but we just need to see what the others think, i want to keep everyone agreed" but at this point, I've had - Tonks, Kingsley, Dung (obviously), Fleur, and Lily essentially say, I think I'd rather go Aberforth. Who's missing? Oh. Diggle. Yeah he said the same too. That just leaves Wood, but even LAST round he thought it possible Aberforth get attention, and that's the last we checked in. Maybe we can catch each other more on the week end. It's good to have him on my side, long run, you know. Him being available during the 45 minute window will come in really handy in ensuring I don't get voted out in a last minute push. Hopefully. Anyways. I think it'll be Aberforth as a vote instead tonight, especially if we all get messages from 'em both in a couple hours and Mundungus talks mad game and Aberforth doesn't.
4. Has there been any discussion of Hidden Immunity Items? How does the possibility that they are in play affect your Game?
Oh yeah. Now that it's been a few days of Owl Post and now that the challenge gave the hint about getting clues when you don't get owl post, the owl's out of the cage now. Fleur and I shared before all that, but now it seems everyone's talkin about it. With me. And I'm keeping all their secrets about who's got what. And I've got two but no one knows that. I've told 'em all it's just the one. Because that one, by itself, is not very helpful. Most of it's not the special link. Now Fleur's 89, in combination with the bit.ly/3 - that's a dangerous combo. So I'm just gonna mind my own about that one. But, Lily has the bit.ly parchment from the sound it - thoughts on that earlier.
I like the fun of the hunt. I don't mind sharing certain info with other people. And if they get it, I should find out. Because if these people are getting clues, and I am too, owl posts have to be getting delivered to someone. Unless the death eaters are just happening to pile em up or even just not bothering to send em. Tonks seems to be getting them pretty regularly. So I told her my useless hint. Build more trust, why not. Wood probably gets 'em. Maybe that's what Pyrites meant by putting them friendliest - maybe they've Owl Posted. Hm. Anyways, long as I know where it's at, it doesn't necessarily matter if it's mine.
5. Are you surprised that we're yet to see anyone saved by a Switch Charm? Do you think it's likely one will be cast this round?Well. I'm not surprised Figg and Alecto weren't saved by a Switch Charm. They left.
Leaving Travers. And that's where things get fun. Kingsley claims he used the Switch Charm. And Travers still died. My thoughts? Travers disappeared, dnf'ed the challenge, and never put in a charm. And so he died. Poor Kingsley. Though he also made it sound like he thought he was saving
himself possibly, but pretty sure the Switch doesn't work that way - your partner has to be the one to switch. You can still die if you do it.
Anyways, I'm still so back and forth right now on whether or not
I am going to cast it, that I've not got time to worry about anyone else casting it. And I'm winning my part in this challenge too, damn it, even though it might be just easier on my mind if we lose the battle.
