Well that was certainly an eventful night! And the week has only just begun! 1. What just happened at Magical Council!? Were you surprised? What do you think caused it? What impact does losing Rodolphus have for your Game? 2. How do you feel about each of your original Side Buddies, coming out of Malfoy Manor? What was the state of the Side dynamics when they disbanded, and what do you think would have happened next had you remained together? 3. But now you're in a new Side with a new combination of players - congratulations on reaching this milestone! What are your first reactions? Were you expecting a Swap? Who are you excited to get to know, and who will you be approaching with trepidation? 4. How are you looking to secure your future on your new Side? Do you think you will be in danger? 5. Who on the other Side do you think could run into trouble? Is there anyone there you hope to be (re)united with in a future phase of the game? 6. How do you think the impact of twists like Switch and Flick, Owl Post, and Hidden Immunity Items will change now that you're in new Sides?

Hey Peter, I promise I'll give better responses to this shortly, just need to do a bit of assessing first.

Never feel that you're being rushed on these. I post them as soon as I get the chance, but you can answer them if/when suits you

As far as I can tell...
Lestrange-Black-HK compared notes and noticed Lucius, Barty and I were probably a solid trio? So they decided to kill Pyrites this round as planned and then flip on the three of us to kill Lucius instead the following round. They roped in Igor, who decided he'd be better served working with folks who are frequently around because of how often Black and Lestrange either aren't here or send very little. So he told Lucius, as a way of placating him, letting him know that the round after Pyrites died the four of us would still have a majority. Unfortunately Igor underestimated Lucius' capacity for panicked decision making, so he decided to turn it around on them, telling Pyrites everything and then trying to get the four of us to turn it on Lestrange. Except I was asleep, so they had to use the idol to get Lestrange out instead. Jesus Christ.
Ehhhhh. Lucius played his hand way too early. Don't love that. Pyrites and Black are still never here when I am. HK's also insanely sketchy. Igor's clever but not observant; trying to play the middle there makes sense but he needed to realize he'd be better off quietly going along with the HK/RAB/Reg stuff for a round to kill Pyrites bloodlessly and then fill us in on their betrayal after. Barty's a solid guy, only one of the lot I sincerely trust right now. I think if we don't swap there, probably Black, HK, or Pyrites dies next. It depends on who Lucius/Pyrites want to kill after Lestrange, and if I stay loyal to that foursome which I wouldn't have been overly inclined to do.
Cheers, it's been an interesting and exhausting week, despite the relative quietness of things here. I predicted for the Switch/Flick stuff to work long term and be more interesting you'd do a swap so I'm glad I was right about that. Excited to get to know all three of these folks; first impressions on all of them are very positive.
I feel like the logical and simple course of action is Barty, Lily, Wood and I just band together and steadily whittle away the rest. Not really clear on if that'll happen though. I think Barty will be happy if we can swing that but I don't know how Lily and Wood will feel about it, if everyone else is screaming we're very close? If that happens I'm probably fucked because Lily will not want to kill her partner, and given Lily wasn't keen on Diggle, it's not like killing me would be a huge blow to her alliance.
Respond to the rest later.

If I could wave my own magic wand, I'd probably let all three of the Purebloods across the pond die right now? It'll be really awkward if they all did, because then my options at a merge get really limited? And it's not all that likely Lucius dies, if Fletch, Pyrites and Black are all that inactive. Digg will likely still try to work with him for me. But truthfully I'm not looking forward to trying to work with any of them again. Anyways everyone is saying Fletch will die because he's inactive, and Black & Pyrites aren't all that active either. So it feels very likely they'll die sooner than later. Fucktons but it'll have to wait til tomorrow before I can really think about it. I hoped I'd have more time to write but I've been busy actually playing the game
