I survived? I barely survived that chaos

1. The merge vote was a mess. Imagine a circus overrun with clowns, thats what it was. Putting my storyteller hat on, this is what happened…
We get to the merge, feeling everyone out. Early on, Malfoy suggests a pair alliance. Now for me, I wasn’t strongly loving the idea of a pair alliance, but I didn’t hate it either. It kept me safe, and that’s what matters right? So after everyone telling everyone they’re cool with an 8 person pairs alliance but no group chat being made, Malfoy FINALLY makes a group chat. At this stage, my preference was Moody to go. By this point, I just felt like he didn’t trust me and I could see Black/Kingsley as stronger allies. So I was telling people my preference was Moody, and eventually, that became the consensus in the group chat.
However, just before the immunity winner was revealed, Moody said to me that Fleur and I were his top 2, so he hopes he stays so we all work together. This was a sound most beautiful to my ears. So I dropped everything and ran straight to Fleur and told her and suggested a potential vote flip, and she signed up the moment I said flip. So then, we talked to Diggle, Black, Moody ofc, Oliver, and Lily and we were like hey.. vote flip time! They were all into it so that was on its way to happen.
THEN, Moody wins immunity, sending everyone crazy and kooky and loopy. At first, Oliver suggested in the group chat to do Black, thinking thats what more people wanted. But I didn’t want Black, I wanted Kingsley gone just a bit more. So after Oliver says he would actually like Kingsley gone, I said that as well, and then everyone followed suit. This ended to be a 9-2-1 vote for Kingsley, the Canary.
I was fine with Kingsley leaving. He did sound keen to work with me, but so are Moody and Black. When there’s a waiting list to work with me, you better make yourself stand out to get chosen

. I spose this solidified the pairs alliance, although its going to be broken up early when I vote out Crouch next

2. As I said before, Lucius/Moody winning immunity did a lot, because Moody was in fact the vote. So when he got saved, it sent everyone into a tizzy, freaking out about what to do next. Mind you, this is all in one merge vote. I am terrified of what comes next if thats only the start…
3. 2 people voted out means 2 less people in the way of winning. Sounds lovely to me. This means 2 things. First, the game is accelerated a little. Second, one vote is mostly out of my control.
At the other one… It’s sorta hard to say who I want gone, because I don’t actually know? I think I’d want Moody to go over Black, just because Black is from the other side and so he knows more about the others DEs? On my side, I’d prefer Crouch to go. Even before Kingsley was voted out, I figured that Crouch would be my next target. This is because he was in a powerful trio with himself/Yax/Malfoy. He was also partners with an important ally of mine, Lily. So voting him out breaks up the trio, frees Lily up and gets rid of someone I’m not close to.
So, with the current numbers, he can easily be voted out. But, of course, there’s the switch/flick charms. I’m a bit nervous a switch charm will be played, swapping an Order member on our side with a Death Eater on the other side, ensuring that the Death Eaters on this side have the majority and one of us gets picked off. So, I cast a switch spell between Diggle and Oliver. That way, I keep Fleur with me, and Diggle joins so that he’s partners with Yax, meaning Crouch is the only one that can be voted out. I royally screwed him over, sorry

4. So I’ve touched on this already, but speaking in the present, my switch spell worked!! This is perfect for me, and I would be inclined to think that Diggle will vote with us to get rid of Crouch. Could he flip? Maybe, but I don’t see it happening this early. I will have to keep my eye on him to make sure he stays in line.
