You've survived the first vote of the Merge... but the chaos has only begun! ![:popcorn](https://i.imgur.com/C9oSv0k.gif) In light of all that we'll keep the questions brief today but do feel free to write about other things too as they come to mind. 1. Talk us through how that Merge Vote came together, from your point of view. Were you comfortable with Kingsley leaving, and with how the dynamics seemed to settle? 2. Did the Magical Feasts Challenge and Lucius/Moody gaining Immunity change anything for you? 3. What do the separate Magical Councils this round mean for your Game? What would you like to see happen at each of them? 4. What can you do to ensure those outcomes eventuate? How will the Switch/Flick Charms and the dual Immunity winners factor into those plans?

I should really answer these before the votes, huh? 1. Which one? ![:P](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png) Last night's vote (seems like an eternity ago now) started shortly after merge with the idea that the pairs would stick together. That seemed like a fairly easy way to keep the majority of us safe. The question was, which of the singles would be the target. Fleur was off the table as plenty of us wanted to keep her around but, in my mind, the others were fair game. I expected Canary to receive some protection but I was surprised just how much protection he got. Throughout the day, Black's and Moody's names came up but not Canary. Not even once. I mentioned this to a handful of people but somehow we landed on Moody at Tonks' suggestion. Late in the day, Tonks comes to me to tell me a number of people had raised Canary's name but that was shut down as people didn't want him to leave. The group stuck with Moody but as we edged closer to deadline, Fleur and Diggle revealed that they would prefer Canary to leave over Moody and Black. Lily, Crouch, Yaxley and I crunched the numbers and we felt there was enough there to vote Canary but there was a lot of indecision so we stuck to Moody. When Moody won immunity, I threw up Black's name as the second name in the pairs PM but there was a groundswell towards Canary so we rolled with it. Tonks' behaviour all day was suspicious as she came across quite arrogant about the way the vote was falling but then checked in every PM to make sure she got on the Canary train. 2. Yes but only because of the outcome. I struggled with the challenge early due to the difficulty and keeping up with missives so I decided to focus on my missives. As above, the original vote was on Moody but landed with Canary due to Moody winning immunity. 3. We had to consider both the optimal and worst case switches and plan accordingly. There wasn't much we could do before the switches were announced but we could at least throw out hats in the ring to get the match ups we wanted. Given that Magical Council has now happened, I would like to see a peaceful and unanimous vote. 4. Well not telling the target that he is the target would be a fantastic start (sorry, spoiler alert!).
