Well… we we working against Barty but still hoped to work with you ![(rofl)](//storage2.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png) We both agreed that the 2 of you were the most powerful players even before Kingsley was voted out, and so from our ignorant perspective, we thought there’d be no issue voting Crouch out with the numbers we had. I was hoping to break the two of you up and hopefully strengthen that initial 4 we made all the way back at Grimauld place. Sadly, I was the one that switched Diggle and Oliver around, thinking that Diggle being with Yaxley would provide a very easy reason to vote out Barty when you would have justifiably been annoyed. I asked Diggle what he would have done, and he confirmed that I was doomed the second he switched. it was my own spell that sent me out of the game, although I suspect Oliver would have also voted me out But it all makes sense though because you knew all along I was against Crouch, and that’s why you stopped talking to me on that day right? I asked both you and Fleur who you were voting for and neither of you could give me an answer so I figured it was Barty. That cemented the idea that you and HK had to go that round specifically rather than later. But we were very afraid because we all assumed HK had the Daily Prophet HII (sorry HK, blame Karkaroff for throwing you under the bus there) I just reread our messages and this isn’t quite right. You asked if Diggle switching to our side guaranteed that Crouch wasn’t going home. While I didn’t say in exact words, “Yes, Crouch would go home,” I did say, “yep, that’s probably right, although I’ll have to see what Fleur and Diggle think.” You then said something along the lines of, ‘Ok, I hope not.” Then, you ignored me and that was the end of our relationship. I’m still a bit confused as to how our relationship fizzled out so quick.

I wanted Fleur gone at F9 because she and Tonks were targetting Barty at F11. You didn’t want Fleur gone then (which is 100% understandable based on your position and close relationships at that point, not blaming you at all) so I figured it was better to go with the majority onto Malfoy and make the move at F8 instead. You never mentioned wanting Fleur out. I was working on the assumption we could work with her and I'm fairly confident I said as such. And that’s not your fault at all. That was an intentional part of my game. I knew that I couldn’t win challenges so I was always going to have to be taken to the end by whoever won FIC. So I knew that I couldn’t raise my threat level by making big moves in the early merge phase unless I had someone (in this case you) to blame the move on and be able to say that YOU made the move to keep Lucius around. Even when I did make the move at F8, I intentionally gave all the credit to Diggle and Barty and allowed people to think I was just being manipulated by them

Without Barty here stumping for you I don’t think we would have realized this was your strategy

That switch was among the highlights of my game. I legitimately would not have wanted to vote for any of you/Fleur/Crouch/Yaxley at that point. It was such an unfortunate situation wasn’t it! Would you have voted me out at that point as well though because I realised you also stopped talking to me on that day hahahha. Likely yes as I felt you were obfuscating like mad on the Canary vote but I knew you and Lucius were getting along and I would suggest Lucius would have approached me with a plan if I was still on that side.

I’m reading “Tonks + Lily” and the very last thing message is me talking to you and breaking down the options on my side. And then I asked you what were you thinking about your side … and then you ignored me for the rest of the night so I knew you and Fleur were taking out Crouch

I think what I meant to say is that when you asked, I did say it was most likely that Crouch was going to be voted out, although I never followed up on this, which is my fault. I remember now that I wasn’t there that night to reply to anyone as I was busy and Diggle did a great job convincing me I was safe. I think I mistakenly thought you ignored me when I found out that you knew I was trying to vote out Crouch. Sorry

Without Barty here stumping for you I don’t think we would have realized this was your strategy So my plan was take out Yaxley at F5, take out Diggs at F4 (which Regulus had been wanting to do for AGES), and then no matter who won FIC, both Barty and RAB take me to the end It would have been a very tough task taking on Barty because I was aware of my juror perception. I did have a few points of differentiation which I would have brought up at FMC but won’t go into now because I feel Wizengamot should be about debating whether Yax or Regulus should win, not whether Barty or I would have won. But also I genuinely would not have cared if I had lost to Barty. Because what you guys also didn’t see is I only signed up for this game because of the Blood Vs Water theme. I wanted to be able to trust in an ally 100%, which is always impossible in a game based on deception. So literally on Day 1, I told Barty that regardless of who he actually was, I would treat him as if we were a real life married couple, and I would consider a win for him to be a win for me. And that’s why we worked so well together - because we had that implicit trust from the start of the game that no other pair had. I even gave permission for him to cut me at any point (including F3) if he thought it would significantly improve his chances of winning. I suspected that he wouldn’t be able to actually cut me, but I was never going to be the slightest bit bitter if he did and I would have been barracking for him on the jury Now I get that there are a lot of the people on the jury who wouldn’t respect that strategy at all. But I really couldn’t give a sh*t. Just like Sam probably doesn’t give a sh*t that people judge her for playing for Mark to win. Sure I don’t have a share of 500k but getting to have that relationship with Barty Crouch Jr made playing this ORG a million times more enjoyable

I was so fucking mad at you (overreacting emotionally (you know why)) but you managed to say the exact right thing when I called you out to bring me right back
