Another night, another uncertain vote. At least the end of the week is in sight... ![:)](http://images.proboards.com/new/smiley.png) 1. Lucius got voted out in tonight's revote! Was that your preferred outcome? And did it all go according to plan? 2. Where does his elimination leave the Merge Side dynamics currently? 3. How did you approach targeting your Side Buddies during the Wizards at War Challenge? Were you surprised by the results? 4. Despite getting mentions and allusions at the Magical Councils, the Merge Side is yet to see a Hidden Immunity Item played. Where do you believe they are, and do you think you are doing as much as you can to play around them (or with them, as the case may be)? 5. What is your plan for this upcoming Final Eight Vote? 6. What are your long-term plans? Are we close enough to the end of the game that you need to consider who might be a threat to receive votes from the Wizengamot?

Another night, another uncertain vote. clusterfuck! Fixed it for you Petey After the shit that went down last round I was just hoping for a normal vote. WHY OH DEAR MERLIN COULDN'T YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THAT! from the start it was always going to be a malfoy/wood split. my preference would have been fleur because as malfoy found it, she's the most insulated person in the game and impossible to launch a hit on. IF oliver had been keen on the move we could have done a plurality vote 4-3-2, but he was always more invested in seeing Lucius go than Fleur, so it was never going to get off the ground. anyways, when it was decided that a MINORITY of votes would be put on Wood and they weren't even going to bother flushing his HII, i suggested that we just pile on the votes onto Malfoy so 1) we don't burn wood and 2) Barty earns us 12 house points (which would put us on track to hit 200 by the weekend and get the switch back that i foolishly threw away) but Barty votes Wood without telling me, and then because Malfoy votes Wood, it's a 4-4-1 tie (turns out Wood voted Diggles). Anyways I was catching the train home and lost signal for a chunk because of tunnels (one or more of you hosts probably knows which train line i'm referring to). and then by the time i try to get back on, i get angry bears..... so i basically missed MC from 9:28 onwards and had no idea it even went to a revote, or that Wood was desperately trying to throw Wood under the bus If I had known that Wood had so publicly revealed his plan, I would have just flipped my vote to send Wood home and keep Lucius as a juicy target for Fleur next round. So yes it's all fallen to shit. Wood absolutely lost it at us even though this mess has mostly been his fault because of his 1) overplaying 2) not actually being that online the last 2 days to flesh out any coherent plan. if he had proposed 4 votes on diggs earlier we could have done a plurality vote there. He now says he will use his HII at F7 for us which makes no sense at all, but ok oliver. anyways fleur is giving me more of a cold shoulder than she had after the Tonks/HK boots, i don't quite trust RAB's offer of an alliance because he's Fleur's unofficial pair I don't trust Diggs/Yaxley and the chaos that they're stirring at all BUT i have put it to them that if any of the 4 of us go, then we allow the singles to have the majority at F7 and then the remaining pair will go, because it's in ALL of the singles' interests to keep F6 as 6 individual players. They can't afford to lose Barty/myself at this vote. Even if Diggs feels good with Moody and co, if Yaxley wins a paired immunity at F7 then Diggs will be the automatic boot. I put all of this in a post to Yaxley because of ALL the players in the game, I find him and Fleur to be the most rational, and I can trust them to at least predictably play in a way that looks after their own best interests. So regardless of how good diggs/yaxley actuallly actually feels about us, they should know that this is by far the ONLY option for the 4 of us Sure, they'll probably engineer it in a way that the F5 round includes someone more inclined to their interests so that they can use that person to boot Barty/I. But that at least buys us a few rounds, whereas I think otherwise one of Barty/I will go at F8 or 7

The finer details are attached to each individual HII, but:

Thanks Professor Umbridge!
I didn't see it in the individual rules threads but for some reason Oliver and Diggs kept mentioning F7
