Corban Yaxley Lily Potter Regulus Black Welcome back to Magical Council! Where in the dungeons below the Ministry, one last candidate for Prime Minister is about to be forcibly retired. Before we get started: ALL PATRONUS MISSIVES MUST CEASE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The time for communicating privately has passed, and we do not allow Missives to be sent during Magical Council. This is an open forum for discussion among the full Side. We will have 15 minutes of Questions and Answers, up until the voting deadline 10:45pm AEST. Because you are not allowed to vote for a player with Individual Immunity, and you are not allowed to vote for yourself, Lily can only vote for Regulus. Similarly, Regulus can only vote for Lily. These votes cancel each other out and so only Yaxley will need to cast a vote tonight. By doing so he will determine who sits next to him as a fellow finalist during the Final Magical Council. And he will also be deciding who to appoint as the ninth and final Wizengamot judge. If for some reason Yaxley wishes to assign Immunity to another player, he must do so in the next five minutes, and we would then extend the voting deadline by five minutes. If he does not mention it by 10:35, he will be deemed to have kept it. I will then collect the vote, and reveal it immediately. The player voted out will have a moment to make a brief statement before being officially appointed to the Wizengamot. If you have not already done so, you should leave your vote in the thread titled "Votes" in your Diary Journal. You are allowed to change it as many time as you like up until the deadline. If you're online, please make a post to sign in, and we'll get this Q&A started!

Y'know Peter, in theory I could still send the PM I was writing, s'not like I'd be all that worried 'bout a PM ban.

Y'know Peter, in theory I could still send the PM I was writing, s'not like I'd be all that worried 'bout a PM ban. I appreciate the commitment. But you're Immune tonight, so why not tell us all what you're thinking? What factors are playing into your decision here?

Hello, Regulus. Yaxley has a stark choice tonight between yourself and Lily. In the last few minutes before he votes - why should he take you to the Final Magical Council?

When someone is able to control the direction of the game from start to finish. Collecting allies, making friends. Not only that, but to play from the front and dominate.
Very impressive, right?
But then to do all that without ever being in consideration to be eliminated. To never get targeted- speaks to the mastery of her game

Black n' Lily both sent along some solid arguments as to why the other would have a better chance against me, is all.
On one hand, the empirical evidence of Black getting most o' the jury wands is a bit scary, but on the other, I've worked with Lily all game, I know she can be incredibly charming and persuasive. And she's never once been a target, which is incredible to me.
So it's a bit difficult for me, I'd say.

How confident are you in your decision being the right one?

If the wands are a factor- discount them, I reckon.
I picked up most of my wands from Barty, who we all know would have given them to Lily if he could have. If they were able to be given to her instead of me, she has more

Yes, I've made my choice. I dunno if it's correct, because it's so hard to know how folks outside the game view it, so I can only rely on my own perception.

If they were able to be given to her instead of me, she has more You've noted that many of the Wands were given under tight restrictions, and also immediately upon elimination. Once the Wizengamont have the chance to confer, do you expect their perceptions of the finalists to shift?

THE ONLY VOTE:.. "Sorry lass, I know it's not a happy conclusion. Game well played." Lily Potter is thus the eighteenth and final player voted out from The ORG of the Phoenix. She will also be the last member of the Wizengamot. I'll give her a moment to post a brief statement, and then move her to The Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Lily has now been moved to the DMLE. This concludes tonight's Magical Council, and the four-week long elimination section of The ORG of the Phoenix. It's been a long few weeks, but - Corban Yaxley and Regulus Black - you have now made it as far as you can in this Game! The power now shifts to the Wizengamot, nine players whom you both had a hand in voting out, and who shall soon decide your Fate. In the meantime, you both have the weekend ahead to take a breath, and to plan your arguments for the Final Magical Council. We'll have the schedule up for that later tonight, once we confer with the finalists. I know this is the most intense part of the Game, with the highest stakes of all. But please also take some time to celebrate this milestone accomplishment! ...and to help you with that, we're upgrading your avatars to reflect just how close you are to taking over the entire Ministry Oh, and for the last time: you may now resume sending Patronus Missives
